We did not give due credit to 40 North for their Street performances program, which is being held in cooperation with Happpy Tuesday, but 40 North|88 West, the CDA, and the City of Champaign each have differnt roles in making these evenings spectacular! 40 North brings street performance to the pavement of Downtown Champaign in conjunction with Happy Tuesday! Street performances are a pilot program of 40 North which will take place June 30 & July 28.
June 30, 5-8pm
5-6pm - Joe Aslin, harmonica @ corner of Main & Neil
Enjoy the melodies of Joe Aslin on harmonica
6-6:10 - Dance Party @ Neil & Main (outside Boltini & Guido's)
Dance Party, all ages and all fun! Dance Party only lasts for 10 minutes so don't miss this opportunity to get your groove on.
6:10-7pm - Modern Improvisational Dance (One Main Plaza)
Sarah Haas, Jacqueline Kinsman, and Anna Marks performing high-energy, improvisational dance structures that are inspired by the architecture and the people in bustling downtown Champaign.
7-8pm - Jason Bentley, guitar & modern dance @ Taylor Street Plaza
His warm baritone voice glides over and under his guitar strummed compositions.
