Holy MOLY!!! A Newsletter from Zoo Improv!
That's right! We are still alive! We're still a thing! We still like each other and we've begun rehearsing again and we like you too! We want to come see you soon and we're hoping to be on a stage near you in the coming months!
Hey!! For serious, though. Do you have a venue you want us to play? Do you know someone who does? Hit us UP!! Send us an email right here! Do it!
Stay tuned for more information as we gather it!
Training? (Sure! You can call it that.)
We're opening our rehearsals to anyone who wants to come give improv a try! We rehearse on Monday evenings, 7 - 9 p.m. and beginning October 3 through and including November 7, you're invited to join us! You don't need prior experience. None at all! It's also fine if you have a bunch! We'd love to play with you no matter how good you feel you are or are not. We'll tailor the rehearsal to the skill levels of the people who are present and have a great time!
Improv is only very slightly about entertaining a room full of people who are not improvising. The art of improvisational theatre is an ego-dissolving, creativity-tapping, childhood-remembering, emotion expressing, relationship-exploring process of stripping away all that politeness you think is "supposed" to be and just discovering a world with the person in the scene with you. Who are you? Who are they? Where are we? What are we doing? Why should anyone care? Pro tip... we don't make it up, we find out! Come see how that happens!
Feel free to contact our primary improv instructor Aubrey Wachtel (aubrey@PROTECTED) with any questions! She will keep a roster so that we know who to expect, and will communicate with you about the address and meeting up with us and all that.
You'll love it!

If we have any information about you, you gave it to us directly. We don't collect any information of any kind from our visitors nor from subscribers to our Newsletter with one exception: your email address. We will be needing that to send you email. We will not take it. You will give it to us. If you do not give it to us, we will not have it, and we will not send you email. Seems fair.

That's it.
