Greetings to all friends of Zoo Improv!
It’s October, and some of us are a little resistant to the idea of growing our winter coats! Fortunately, we’ve got a lot of awesome shows to see and events to be a part of so grab a candy corn snack and read on!

Tuesdays at Indi Go Artist Co op
This month at Indi Go our show is in your hands. The audience decides what forms or games we’ll do by tossing a die. The odds are in your favor, there’s 100% chance you’re gonna laugh.
Tuesdays @ Indi Go, doors open at 8:30 pm, show starts at 9:00 pm. Admission $2
Indi Go is located at 9 E. University Ave., between Neil and Walnut, just south of the city building.
Third Wednesday at the Iron Post
We’re up close and high energy! Our third Wednesday performance offers nearly two hours of mixed short games and long form improv comedy! That’s a lot of Zoo for your buck! Come early to get a seat.
Wednesday, October 21 @ The Iron Post, 8:00 p.m. Admission $4
Ghosts & Zombies will invade downtown Champaign on Saturday, October 24!
Zoo Improv is planning a Ghost & Zombie Crawl to raise awareness about “The Mystery of the Asylum Behind the Museum” Haunted House. Proceeds from the haunted house go to benefit both the Prompting Theater (Champaign-Urbana's premier theatre for developmentally disabled actors) and the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum. If you would like to participate in either, or both, of the following two events, please send an email to Aubrey@zooimprov.com so we can get an idea of how many to plan for and we can put you on the list to get updates if there are any changes. You don’t have to register in advance, but we appreciate when you do.
Ghosts needed at 5:30 pm! Volunteers will meet in the parking lot behind Boltini Lounge. Ghost volunteers can dress in the classic ghost costume of white sheets (or any old sheet) with eye holes. The Prompting Theater has some “ghost costumes” available to share if you don’t have your own, but please let us know so we can plan appropriately. From there, we will haunt the downtown early evening crowd for about 45 minutes. This is an all-ages event.
Zombies will gather at the Class Act studio at 9:45 pm. The Prompting Theater is providing make-up so all you’ll need to do is wear whatever puts you in the mood for eating the brains of the living. We’ll leave Class Act around 10:00 pm and crawl all through the downtown area, making stops at our favorite businesses, occasionally stopping to have a drink alongside some of the “pinks.” We invite all the undead to lurch about with us well into the witching hours. This is an adult event.
Class Act is located at 114 S. Neil St. in Champaign.
