We've been a little quite for the last few weeks as we basked in the glow of another successful Improv Festival and played with our new energies and ideas in rehearsal. ... but enough quiet time ... Friday Night Improv at Class Act We are very excited to be taking the stage again at <a href="http://www.classactinteractive.com/">Class Act</a> in Champaign!! The show is THIS FRIDAY, June 25, 2010! We'll get going at 8 pm and play until about 9:30 for the low-low price of only $2 each! We hope you�ll join us at two awesome events this weekend, on Saturday, April 17. <ul> <li>We�ll be performing at the Theatre in the Streets Festival on Broadway in Urbana at 2:00 pm. </li> <li>Then, we�ll be on the stage at the IMC, just down the block at 4:30 pm as part of the Uniting Pride Boneyard Cultural Arts Event. </li> </ul> Both events are free to the public. This Saturday, April 17th, from noon until 5 pm, theater is taken from the stage into the streets.  All shows begin on the hour, and are free to all, though of course donations are welcomed (proceeds go to benefit the Prompting Theater, the local CU theater company comprised of adult actors with developmental disabilities). This Festival will take place in Downtown Urbana, on Broadway (in between Main and Elm, next to the parking garage).  It is also a proud participant in 40 North's Boneyard Arts Festival, helping to bring focus to all sorts of arts and artists in the downtown Urbana area on this Saturday. This year's line-up: <ul> <li>Noon:  Central High Drama presenting excerpts from "Suessical the Musical"</li> <li>1 pm:  Miss Place(d) presenting "Dark Moon Manifesto"</li> <li>2 pm:  Zoo Improv presenting improvisational comedy</li> <li>3 pm:  The Prompting Theater presenting "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Get Lost"</li> <li>4 pm:  Rantoul Theater Group presenting excerpts from "A Few Good Men" and scenes from their Studio Theater shows.</li> </ul> Prior to the Prompting Theater's show, raffle tickets for $1 each will be sold.  Winner could win a surprise package sometime during the Prompting Theater's show. Most of the proceeds from these performances will go to benefit a local charity. Our January fundraiser for the Prompting Theater got snowed out. We�re doing a take two for the Prompting Theater because they are in serious need of your support! So, come laugh your way into the weekend.  All proceeds from admission will go to benefit The Prompting Theater as they raise money to travel to Chicago for their performance in the <a href="http://www.rhinofest.com/">Rhino Theatre Festival</a> on Saturday, February 6th!!   The Prompting Theater is a local CU theater company comprised of adult actors with developmental disabilities.  They demonstrate through their art that a disability doesn't imply an inability.
